Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the SeaSpores website (seaspores.org) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Product Descriptions

SeaSpores strives to provide accurate descriptions of all products and services offered on our website. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, pricing, or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by SeaSpores is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the unused product in original condition within the timeframe specified in our Return Policy.

All product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual appearance, color, size, and packaging may vary slightly from images displayed.

Ordering & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation by SeaSpores. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including orders that appear to be from unauthorized or fraudulent sources.

By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard Shipping

SeaSpores offers free shipping on all online orders. Standard shipping typically takes 3-7 business days for delivery within the continental United States. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Perishable Products

Fresh gourmet mushrooms and other perishable items are shipped using expedited methods to ensure quality upon arrival. For these products, we recommend inspecting the package immediately upon receipt. If the product arrives damaged or in unacceptable condition, you must report this within 24 hours of delivery.

Sterile & Specialty Products

Sterile grain bags, liquid cultures, and other specialty mycology products are carefully packaged to maintain sterility and prevent contamination during transit. SeaSpores is not responsible for loss of sterility or contamination if proper handling procedures are not followed upon receipt.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

While we do everything possible to ensure timely delivery, SeaSpores is not liable for delays caused by carrier services, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. If your shipment does not arrive within 14 days of the shipping date, please contact us for assistance.

Returns & Refunds

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeaSpores shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

SeaSpores' total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms of Service or your use of our products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.

Product Use & Responsibility

You assume all responsibility for the proper use and storage of SeaSpores products. Sterile grain bags must be stored in clean, cool conditions and used before expiration dates. Fresh mushrooms must be consumed or stored properly upon receipt. Nursery stock must be cared for according to species-specific requirements.

SeaSpores is not responsible for loss, contamination, or poor results that occur due to improper storage, handling, or use of products after receipt.

Intellectual Property

All content on the SeaSpores website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SeaSpores or its content suppliers and is protected by United States copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

Changes to Terms

SeaSpores reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our website and products following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
